We believe in doing more.

Our Commitment to Community Wellness

In addition to providing unmatched quality of care, we believe that foot and ankle care should be accessible to everyone.

To help achieve this goal, COFAW is pleased to offer Wellness Wednesdays on the third Wednesday of each month. Join us at Catholic Outreach on a first-come, first-served basis from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m., or call to schedule an appointment for our free community clinic at COFAW from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We also provide monthly visits to area care facilities, offering low-cost nail and callus care for patients who are unable to access services through our in-office appointments and free care for patients over 100 years old. For more information about these services, please see the information below, or call the office at (970) 433-7547.

Wellness Wednesdays

3rd Wednesday of Each Month:
8:30 - 11:00 AM @ Catholic Outreach | 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM @ COFAW

  • Catholic Outreach Clinic

On the third Wednesday of every month, from 8:30 to 11:00am, COFAW holds a free community clinic at Catholic Outreach, located 302 Pitkin Avenue in Grand Junction. Patients can seek consultations on a first-come, first-served basis, without reservations. The clinic is designed to provide foot and ankle care to the homeless and individuals struggling to access quality medical services promptly, regardless of insurance or financial constraints.

  • Colorado Foot & Ankle Wellness Community Clinic

On the third Wednesday of each month, from 12:00 to 3:00, COFAW hosts a clinic exclusively for Medicaid and Medicare patients in our office at 241 Grand Avenue, Unit #3 in Grand Junction. Appointments must be scheduled in advance, and paperwork should be completed beforehand. New patients will receive a complimentary, 30-minute initial consultation, including X-rays if necessary. The clinic aims to improve access to foot and ankle care, cater to Medicaid/Medicare patients, ensure quality medical care for all, and contribute to the community. While appointments are free, patients are encouraged to make charitable donations to a rotating non-profit organization. All donations collected during the clinic will go directly to the selected charity.

Investing in Our Community

  • Care Facility Visits

Understanding the challenges many patients face in accessing in-office care, COFAW offers on-site nail and callus treatments for just $50 at select facilities—an affordable rate comparable to or even lower than Medicare coverage. This service ensures that those in need receive essential foot care conveniently and at minimal cost.

  • Non-Profit Donations

COFAW is proud to give back to the community by donating 10% of our practice profits each month to a different local non-profit.

  • Special Olympics

We are honored to support the Colorado Special Olympics by volunteering in the Fit Feet division of the Healthy Athletes program during the summer games at CMU.

  • Medical Missions

COFAW actively participates in international medical missions, extending our commitment to foot and ankle wellness beyond borders.

Shoe & Sock Drive

Browns Shoes generously donates all returned shoes to our office, and each month, we deliver them to Catholic Outreach to support those in need. You can help too! If you have new or gently used socks or shoes, please drop them off at our office. Your contribution makes a meaningful difference in someone's life.
