Meet Dr. Joe Dahlin, DPM

Dr. Joe Dahlin, DPM
Joe grew up in Arlington Heights IL, just outside Chicago. Blessed as the middle of 5 children and maintaining a very active childhood, he was exposed to a multitude of injuries and illnesses. After breaking his ankle 3 separate times in high school playing soccer, he changed his future intentions from business to medicine, naturally finding his niche in podiatry focusing on the lower extremity.
While playing club soccer at University of Iowa he attained a B.S in psychology, subsequently going on to receive his 4-year podiatric medical degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago. He completed a 3-year forefoot, rearfoot reconstruction/ankle surgical residency at Rush University in Chicago. After practicing 5+ years locally in Grand Junction, Dr. Dahlin is excited to open his own medical practice, Colorado Foot & Ankle Wellness (COFAW).
When not seeing patients, augmenting his training and education, or enhancing COFAW, Dr. Dahlin can be found actively enjoying the outdoors, often with his three children. Among other things, Dr. Dahlin enjoys mountain biking, gardening, climbing, skiing, camping, playing guitar, reading, hiking, and—most of all—spending time with his children. He appreciates the trust and confidence his patients place in him as it's a pleasure and privilege to provide care.
